Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders in agri-commodities trading, supply chain, and operations
• Create and maintain comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional requirements, use cases, and user stories
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for engineering, data, and product teams
• Support Agile/SDLC processes including sprint planning and backlog grooming
• Work with data science teams to define data inputs and success metrics for forecasting and predictive models
• Analyze existing workflows to identify gaps and recommend scalable improvements
• Collaborate with QA teams to design test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Agriculture/Agri-Business, or Finance
• 3–7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst
• Proven experience in agri-commodities, commodities trading, supply chain, or fintech
• Strong hands-on experience creating Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile environments
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or Python for data analysis
• Ability to work with data-driven products, APIs, and cloud-based platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of agri-commodities markets, pricing mechanisms, and logistics
• Exposure to market analytics, forecasting, or trading platforms
