Technical Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document technical requirements as user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
• Perform QA on completed user stories, including functional testing and UAT coordination
• Create technical specifications, process flows, and data flow diagrams
• Facilitate requirements workshops with developers, architects, and business stakeholders
• Analyse global platform documentation and adapt specifications for Australian implementation
• Manage requirements traceability from business need through to delivered solution
• Support integration testing between platform components across the transformation ecosystem
• Produce release notes and technical documentation for each delivery increment

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in software delivery environments
• Strong experience writing user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria
• QA/testing experience including test case design and UAT facilitation
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
• Ability to read and interpret API specifications and technical documentation
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry
• Experience with integration platforms or API management tools
• SQL querying ability for data validation
• Experience with BPM/workflow platforms
• CBAP or equivalent Business Analyst certification
