Technical Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for AWS solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to design secure, scalable AWS architectures.
• Document workflows, data models, and integration points.
• Support migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives on AWS.
• Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and external vendors.
• Ensure solutions adhere to AWS best practices and security standards.
• Produce clear business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation).
• Experience with cloud migration strategies such as rehost, replatform, or refactor.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate/Professional).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as banking, insurance, or healthcare.
• Experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP).
