Technical Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct descriptive and diagnostic analytics using SAP Reporting (Fiori App) and SAP Analytics Cloud
• Apply machine learning tools to improve data quality and resolve issues
• Identify patterns and trends in data sets using statistical process controls
• Create complex reports and dashboards leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud and other BI tools
• Develop data profiles for data tables and elements in the data lake
• Create and evaluate data catalogue entries and ensure metadata quality
• Analyze diverse data sets to identify quality, coherency, and integrability issues
• Collaborate to develop data cleansing methods and rules
• Maintain documentation for key decisions, rules, controls, and processes
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in a relevant discipline
• Degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in SQL query language execution on NoSQL and SQL sources
• Experience with data profiling, catalog, and business intelligence tools
• Exposure to Agile software development
• Exposure to IoT technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of latest data science technologies and trends
• Exposure to Big Data open source
• Experience with clustered compute cloud-based implementation
