About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap and team backlog, defining problems to solve and making scope/sequence trade-offs to maximize value.
- Translate strategy into execution-ready work by writing clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with Engineering and Design to shape solutions from discovery through delivery, balancing UX, technical feasibility, and compliance.
- Drive product discovery by synthesizing customer feedback, stakeholder input, and data to identify and validate opportunities.
- Define success metrics and KPIs to guide future investment and measure product outcomes.
- Lead agile rituals including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
- Champion high-quality standards by partnering on testing, rollout plans, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field, or equivalent military experience.
- 7+ years of professional experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or a related software delivery role.
- 5+ years of experience owning and prioritizing backlogs and delivering features end-to-end with cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience working with agile development practices (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions and define success metrics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate with engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering products in regulated industries, such as financial services.
- Technical fluency with the ability to engage in architecture and API discussions.
- Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, or customer research methodologies.
- Experience driving multi-quarter roadmaps across multiple teams and dependencies.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification.
