Technical Author

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and update technical documentation including manufacturing instructions, SOPs, process validation plans, and reports.
• Support the transfer and scale-up of production processes from laboratory to production scale.
• Implement process optimizations to increase quality and efficiency.
• Conduct risk analyses of production processes.
• Assist production departments with deviation reports and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in documentation.
• Act as a cross-functional liaison between Production, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and R&D.
• Ensure all documentation meets internal, regulatory, and customer requirements.

Requirements

• University degree in Chemistry (PhD preferred) or Natural Sciences.
• Professional experience within a pharmaceutical environment.
• Native-level German and excellent English communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations.
• Ability to explain complex chemical processes and technical relationships clearly.
• Highly structured, precise, and organized working style.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Master Batch Record (MBR) design within a Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Familiarity with PAS-X software.
