About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up, execute, and evaluate non-GMP unit operations including centrifugation, filtration, chromatography, ultrafiltration/diafiltration, final fill, CIP, and parts washing
- Prepare large volume buffers and tissue culture media (200L-1000L) for Pilot Manufacturing as requested by science line customers
- Manage inventory, documentation, work order generation, and data entry/evaluation
- Prioritize workflows and manage personal time to ensure accountability for results
- Support the scale-up and optimization of mammalian processes for biotherapeutic production
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated experience in a biotechnology manufacturing or laboratory environment
- Operational knowledge of computerized systems, including Production Control Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word and MS Excel
- Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, walking, and bending, as well as mathematical calculations
