About the role

Responsibilities

  • Set up, execute, and evaluate non-GMP unit operations including centrifugation, filtration, chromatography, ultrafiltration/diafiltration, final fill, CIP, and parts washing
  • Prepare large volume buffers and tissue culture media (200L-1000L) for Pilot Manufacturing as requested by science line customers
  • Manage inventory, documentation, work order generation, and data entry/evaluation
  • Prioritize workflows and manage personal time to ensure accountability for results
  • Support the scale-up and optimization of mammalian processes for biotherapeutic production

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Demonstrated experience in a biotechnology manufacturing or laboratory environment
  • Operational knowledge of computerized systems, including Production Control Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word and MS Excel
  • Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, walking, and bending, as well as mathematical calculations
