Technical Associate

Responsibilities

• Operate, optimize, and maintain assigned production equipment
• Meet and exceed production standards while maintaining high product quality
• Minimize equipment downtime and sustain budgeted waste levels
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure accurate equipment startup
• Maintain accurate equipment logs, recording downtime and maintenance issues
• Monitor component inventories, safety guards, and in-process quality
• Perform required Q.C. checks and process challenges
• Follow all safety, environmental, and Quality System Requirements
• Support upstream and downstream operations and perform rework as required

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Proficiency in mechanical repair and use of basic hand tools
• Familiarity with mechanical components including bushings, chain drives, conveyors, gearboxes, and ball valves
• Familiarity with electrical components such as sensors, photo-eyes, scales, reed switches, and VFDs
• Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated
• Ability to work any shift
• Clear and legible handwriting

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of mechanical experience
• 6-12 months of manufacturing experience
• Experience working with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
