Technical Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering support for the characterization of Low Earth Orbital Satellite communications
• Support the installation and testing of enhanced commercial 5G telecommunications infrastructure
• Set up backhaul networks and perform router/switch configuration
• Collect, correlate, and analyze data to establish performance and operational characteristics
• Document and report work results in technical reports and refereed publications
• Explore performance and architectural options to inform government applications in training scenarios

Requirements

• BS degree in a relevant field
• Knowledge of network and wireless communications technology and protocols
• Knowledge of radio frequency (RF) systems, wireless propagation, and communications systems theory
• Knowledge of analog, digital, and RF electronics, including integrated circuits
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
