About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical engineering support for the characterization of Low Earth Orbital Satellite communications
- Support the installation and testing of enhanced commercial 5G telecommunications infrastructure
- Set up backhaul networks and perform router/switch configuration
- Collect, correlate, and analyze data to establish performance and operational characteristics
- Document and report work results in technical reports and refereed publications
- Explore performance and architectural options to inform government applications in training scenarios
Requirements
- BS degree in a relevant field
- Knowledge of network and wireless communications technology and protocols
- Knowledge of radio frequency (RF) systems, wireless propagation, and communications systems theory
- Knowledge of analog, digital, and RF electronics, including integrated circuits
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
