About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide management and technical support to the Field Operations Team, including the Operations Manager and staff.
  • Coordinate internal and external relationships, networks, and partnerships to ensure effective communication and information flow.
  • Facilitate the gathering of information and research required for planning, program development, and proposal writing.
  • Assist in the development of funding proposals for donors, international organizations, and local missions.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as responding to correspondence, coordinating schedules, and providing documentation for meetings.
  • Support field office fleet activities, including monitoring vehicle assignments and ensuring adherence to security protocols.
  • Develop and maintain electronic or manual file-keeping systems to ensure secure and easy access to records.
  • Consolidate and review monthly, midyear, and annual accomplishment reports to track field office performance and trends.
  • Participate in emergency response teams as required by expertise and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Social Sciences, or equivalent experience in development.
  • 2-3 years of experience providing executive-level support.
  • Proven strength in research, situational analysis, and technical writing.
  • Proficiency in report writing, proposal development, and liaison work with external agencies.
  • Experience in field operations and community development.
  • Familiarity with program/project design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle highly sensitive information.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
