Technical Artist Assistant

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, and continuous improvement of artistic and technical pipelines
• Create tools with simple and effective interfaces to meet team needs
• Provide daily support to artistic and technical teams to resolve production bottlenecks
• Contribute to the creation of technical artistic data including VFX, lighting, and shaders
• Ensure technical integration and tracking of assets in the engine
• Help define, analyze, and maintain performance budgets (CPU, GPU, memory)
• Assist in maintaining data structures and documenting graphic and technical pipelines

Requirements

• Education in video game development, real-time computer graphics, or an equivalent field
• Interest in the Technical Artist role and the interaction between art and technology
• Basic knowledge of game engines such as Unreal, Unity, or equivalent
• Sensitivity to real-time performance issues
• Analytical mindset, rigor, and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
