The studio’s projects include Academy Award–winning Everything Everywhere All at Once, Netflix hits The Gray Man and Extraction, and upcoming Avengers films. With the addition of Donald Mustard, former Chief Creative Officer at Epic Games, AGBO is expanding into immersive, interconnected worlds across media.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with artists, engineers, and designers to develop and maintain production pipelines
  • Build artist-friendly tools, automation, and workflows to enhance productivity
  • Serve as a technical liaison between Art and Engineering departments
  • Support asset implementation and optimization within Unreal Engine
  • Develop and maintain materials, shaders, and rendering workflows
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges related to assets, lighting, and rendering
  • Identify opportunities for pipeline efficiency and content scalability
  • Participate in R&D initiatives for emerging real-time technologies

Requirements

  • 3–8 years of professional experience as a Technical Artist in games or interactive media
  • Strong experience with Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5)
  • Proficiency in DCC tools such as Maya, Blender, Houdini, or 3ds Max
  • Understanding of real-time rendering principles and optimization techniques
  • Experience with scripting or tool development using Python, MEL, or Blueprint
  • Knowledge of asset pipelines including LOD generation, texture streaming, and rigging
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with procedural content creation tools like PCG or Houdini
  • Experience supporting diverse art disciplines such as VFX or world-building
