Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and development of robust, scalable software components and systems.
• Take ownership of business-critical technical problems and drive strategic solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for organization-wide initiatives in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Participate in code and design reviews to establish best practices in software development.
• Mentor junior engineers and cultivate innovation across multiple teams.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Participate in technical hiring activities to attract top-tier talent.

Requirements

• 15-20 years of proven experience building scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available systems.
• Expert-level system design and object-oriented programming skills with an ability to design complex architectures.
• Deep understanding of CS fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one high-level language: Java, C++, Python, Ruby, Go, C#, or JavaScript.
• Proven track record of solving ambiguous, large-scale software problems with significant impact.
• Strong technical breadth with the ability to evaluate and suggest the right tools for diverse technology spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Generative AI technologies to accelerate development and engineering productivity.
• Previous experience working within a high-growth startup environment.
• Active contributions to open-source software projects.
