Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert across all aspects of Snowflake
• Deploy Snowflake following best practices and share knowledge to enable customer self-sufficiency
• Demonstrate and communicate best practices for Snowflake technology implementation through hands-on work
• Position Snowflake effectively against competitors and complementary technologies
• Work at a deep technical level with system integrator consultants to ensure successful deployment
• Provide solutions and guidance for customer-specific technical challenges
• Support team members through knowledge sharing and expertise enhancement
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles within post-sales/technical delivery
• Ability to identify customer needs and propose/drive project progression
• Strong presentation and demo skills for both technical and executive audiences
• Comprehensive understanding of the full data analytics stack from ETL to data platform design to BI/analytics tools
• Design and implementation skills for databases, data warehouses, and data processing
• Extensive hands-on experience with SQL and SQL analytics
• Scripting experience in Python, Ruby, Perl, or Bash
• Ability and flexibility to work on-site with customers, including travel as required
• Experience proposing, implementing, and utilizing AI/ML solutions to solve business problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of large-scale database technologies (Redshift, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, etc.)
• Experience with large-scale data processing tools (Spark, Hadoop, HBase)
• Understanding of BI and data exploration tools (Tableau, Sigma, Qlik, Omni, Looker)
• Experience implementing ETL pipelines using custom or packaged tools
• Experience designing and building systems on public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with data migration projects
• Experience with AI/ML design/implementation on data analytics platforms
• Experience promoting AI product suites including Snowflake Cortex
• Experience in AI/ML/GenAI use case design, PoC, and implementation
• Experience advising on MLOps, governance, monitoring, and security
• Experience with prompt engineering, LLM robustness, and AI risk management
