Technical Architect-SAP

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of scalable, maintainable SAP solutions aligned with enterprise standards and Clean Core principles.
• Lead S/4HANA transformation and ECC migration initiatives, including Greenfield, Brownfield, and landscape transformation strategies.
• Work hands-on as a developer to build, test, and deliver high-quality SAP enhancements and extensions.
• Lead development and requirements workshops with architects, functional teams, and business stakeholders.
• Drive modernization, production issue resolution, and development governance across SAP landscapes.
• Mentor and coach junior team members while promoting best practices and code reuse.
• Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and innovation trends to support enterprise transformation.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience as an SAP Technical Architect.
• Deep expertise in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Hands-on development experience with Core Data Services (CDS Views), AMDP, and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
• Practical experience with SAP BTP, including CAP, BTP ABAP Environment, and Business Application Studio (BAS).
• UI/UX development proficiency with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5.
• Integration expertise involving REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, OData (v2/v4), and RFC/BAPI.
• Experience with data migration tools such as Migration Cockpit, SLT, and SUM/DMO.
• Knowledge of SAP Workflow and output management (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms).
• Functional development exposure in modules such as QM, SD, PP, MM, WM/EWM, FI, GTS, or PLM/EHSM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Joule, SAP Build, and SAP Integration Suite.
• Familiarity with Git/gCTS, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Business process knowledge in regulated manufacturing or medical/pharma environments (GxP, FDA).
