Technical Architect - Migrations

Responsibilities

• Lead technical streams of client data platform implementations and on-boarding efforts
• Engage with several Snowflake customers to provide expert advisory services
• Collaborate with Engineering, Support, Sales, and Marketing to ensure proper technical guidance
• Help clients troubleshoot implementations and integrate products within their ecosystems
• Identify, document, triage, and track technical issues to ensure resolution
• Gather product feedback from customers to inform new features and capabilities
• Contribute to the growth of Customer Delivery teams through documentation and process optimization

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role
• Expertise in distributed systems and MPP technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Teradata, Spark, Databricks)
• Deep understanding of data strategies (Data Mesh, Data Vault, Data Governance)
• Proficiency in data modeling (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Medallion architecture, Kimball)
• Knowledge of Cloud Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure) including IaaS, PaaS, and Security
• Experience with Data Engineering frameworks (SQL, DBT, Python, Snowpark, PySpark, Orchestration)
• Familiarity with BI solutions (Tableau, PowerBI, Streamlit) and statistical analysis
• Fundamental understanding of AI/ML concepts (NLP, LLMs, classification, regression)
• Ability to lead engagements with stakeholders from development teams to executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience in Financial Services, Retail, or Healthcare & Life Sciences
