Technical Architect I

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and integrate complex security solutions including Network, Endpoint, Email, and Cloud security
• Contribute to detailed architecture solutions, functional specifications, testing documents, and build books
• Work directly with Customers and Bell Technical Leads to drive successful security solution delivery
• Provide technical support services to develop and maintain integrated security solutions
• Install, patch, and organize cable infrastructure, including fiber optic and copper cabling
• Perform complex testing, integration, and remediation of security technologies such as Firewalls, DLP, and IDS/IPS

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent College Diploma with relevant experience
• 3+ years of experience delivering Network and/or security projects
• Must currently hold or have previously held a Government of Canada Secret Clearance Level II
• Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (Network, Firewall, and/or Collaboration)
• Strong troubleshooting and networking foundation
• Proficiency with Office365 and Visio
• Ability to work onsite in the Ottawa office 5 days per week
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ITSG-22, ITSG-33, NIST CSF, or ISO 27000
• Experience with programming or scripting
• Experience recommending security best practices for the design and configuration of security solutions
