Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Design solution architectures based on business requirements and ensure alignment with product goals
• Lead architectural decision-making and present solution alternatives to stakeholders
• Define technical architecture, including application, security, and infrastructure components
• Define non-functional requirements and establish technical standards, best practices, and guidelines
• Review and optimize existing code to improve quality, performance, and maintainability
• Validate technical feasibility and conduct Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for new technologies
• Support DevSecOps and CI/CD initiatives while researching emerging technical topics

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 2 years in a Technical Architect or Senior Leadership role
• Hands-on experience across backend, frontend, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID principles, Hexagonal Architecture, and Clean Architecture
• Proficiency in Microservices, API design, Event-driven architecture, and Micro-frontends
• Solid experience with AWS cloud platforms
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps best practices
• Experience with Kotlin or Java, Spring Boot/Quarkus, and SQL/NoSQL databases
• Fluent English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with LMS and educational technology ecosystems (LTI, H5P, SCORM, xAPI, LRS)
• Knowledge of Extreme Programming and Software Craftsmanship principles
• Proficiency in architectural modeling (UML, C4, Sequence diagrams, Threat modeling)
• Strong experience using AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude
• Experience defining AI frameworks, agent profiles, and prompt libraries
