Technical Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Work daily with an experienced mentor to learn the elevator mechanic trade
• Familiarize yourself with basic elevator operations through site visits and formal training
• Learn how electronic and mechanical systems function and how to connect complex components
• Utilize digital tools and IoT technology used in modern elevator systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, including periodic visits and safety device inspections

Requirements

• Student of a Technical or Technologist program in Electromechanical Maintenance, Electronics, Mechanics, Automation, or related fields
• Availability to sign an apprenticeship contract
• Comfort using electronic and digital tools
• Strong willingness to study and train to become a qualified elevator mechanic
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
