Technical Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Attend all required training programs as communicated by the team
• Perform departmental tasks and coordinate activities requiring minimal problem solving
• Install Windows Operating Systems on standalone servers
• Install and configure various operating systems including Linux, Solaris, HP UNIX, and AIX
• Install and configure test setups as required by the engineering team
• Manage and fulfill lab requests raised by engineers
• Deploy and create virtual machines within a VMware VCenter environment

Requirements

• B.E/B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field
• Basic knowledge of software programs, including Windows and MS Office applications
• Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems
• Exposure to Linux environments
• Knowledge of TCP/IP troubleshooting

• Strong collaboration skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior-level team members
