Technical Applications Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead customer onboarding activities to ensure smooth transitions from purchase to implementation
• Deliver high-quality scientific training tailored to customer needs and skill levels
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance across applications and workflows
• Advise on customer workflows to improve efficiency, optimization, and assay outcomes
• Identify opportunities to expand product usage and uncover potential needs for additional reagents or capabilities
• Partner with Account Managers, Service, and Marketing teams to support business expansion and customer success

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related scientific field
• Demonstrable experience with flow cytometry applications and cell sorting
• Ability to troubleshoot complex workflows and technical issues
• Strong training, presentation, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences or a related scientific field
• Experience with spectral flow cytometry and related applications
• Experience operating and troubleshooting cell sorters
• Experience supporting post-sale customer training and laboratory workflow optimization
