About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of the Claims Cloud Platform using AWS and Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Monitor system performance, security, and operational health using tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Dynatrace.
  • Design and manage high-availability and disaster recovery strategies, including multi-zone deployments and Auto Scaling.
  • Configure networking and security components such as VPCs, security groups, NACLs, firewalls, and IAM policies.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure through resource tagging, cost management, and performance tuning.
  • Automate deployment and operational tasks using AWS CloudFormation, Systems Manager, and CLI tools.
  • Identify opportunities for infrastructure improvement and implement system upgrades.
  • Leverage coding, scripting, or AI to automate repetitive manual tasks.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud technical administration and platform support.
  • 3+ years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) administration.
  • Proven experience supporting production platforms, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident triage.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls.
