Technical Accounting Senior Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting research and documentation for complex transactions, including digital assets (Bitcoin treasury activities) and capital market activity
• Draft and maintain accounting position papers and memos in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance
• Support the preparation and review of SEC filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and prospectus supplements
• Provide accounting support for equity and preferred stock issuances, ATM programs, and shelf registrations
• Assess and document internal control implications of new transactions to support SOX 404 compliance
• Partner with Treasury, Legal, Tax, and IT teams to drive alignment on accounting and reporting outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA certification is required
• 7–10+ years of experience in technical accounting and SEC reporting
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Proven experience with complex transactions involving debt, equity, or capital markets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Big 4 or a large public company environment
• Exposure to digital assets or cryptocurrency accounting
