Technical Accounting and Policies Manager

Responsibilities

• Research and interpret accounting guidance, consult with external experts, and prepare or review technical accounting memos for complex transactions.
• Monitor FASB and SEC pronouncements and update accounting policies and position papers to reflect new guidance.
• Support SEC reporting requirements by drafting or reviewing disclosures and assisting with FASB/SEC comment letter responses.
• Partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to implement accounting for new standards and deliver technical training programs.
• Partner with internal and external auditors to support timely quarterly reviews and annual audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
• Active CPA (or equivalent qualification).
• 8+ years of public accounting and/or related industry experience.
• 5+ years in technical accounting with proficiency across multiple areas of U.S. GAAP.
• Ability to research, interpret, and communicate complex accounting guidance clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
