About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to drive long-term adoption of the Samsara platform and optimize customer technical health.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts by developing tailored success plans and identifying potential risks.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues involving hardware, software, and API integrations.
  • Lead customer meetings, including technical deep dives and quarterly technical account reviews.
  • Partner with Sales, Support, Product, and Engineering teams to advocate for customer needs and resolve escalations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent issue recurrence and drive product improvements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., Technical Account Management, Solutions Consulting, or Customer Success).
  • Exceptional technical literacy with the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and APIs.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • A data-informed approach to understanding and addressing customer needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global enterprise-level customers in SaaS, IoT, or PaaS environments.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Jira, Gong, Gainsight, or Tableau.
  • Basic Python coding skills.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and methodologies to improve customer success workflows.
