About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical selling by offering effective solutions for pharmaceutical formulation development to drive business growth.
- Work closely with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during formulation development or manufacturing.
- Support technical inquiries to accelerate business development and provide solutions to key customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including industry market management and customer service, to ensure seamless product delivery.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key customers to assess needs and address concerns.
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing for assigned accounts.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Plan and execute independent customer visits and maintain accurate records in CRM.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Technologies, Pharmacy, Chemistry engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical manufacturing.
- Proven experience in R&D or technical roles involving the design and development of optimal pharmaceutical dosage forms.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and high competency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in other Southeast Asian languages is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and travel to customer sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or training in sales, account management, or customer relationship management.
