TechAtlas Healthcare Associate

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in several therapeutic areas and/or technologies
• Meet with biotech and life science companies to evaluate investment opportunities
• Analyze and communicate the significance of preclinical and clinical data sets
• Conduct due diligence to inform investment decisions
• Work with portfolio companies on strategy and pipeline prioritization
• Interview and survey key opinion leaders and subject matter experts
• Attend scientific and investor conferences
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitive landscapes
• Create and update competitive landscapes using proprietary mapping systems
• Assess inbound investment opportunities and make initial recommendations

Requirements

• PhD in the biological sciences or MD degree
• 2-5 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, or fund experience
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to analyze preclinical/clinical data
• Experience leveraging AI in a work environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in the Greater Boston area on a hybrid schedule
