Tech Support Analyst

Responsibilities

• Ensure production stability for the Electronic Trading suite of applications
• Manage Incident, Problem, and Change management processes
• Support traders and middle office operations teams
• Partner with Development teams to reduce toil and automate manual tasks
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge database of known issues and workarounds
• Support Service and Product Managers across various technical domains
• Define workarounds for known errors and initiate continuous process improvements
• Provide mentorship to junior associates and take ownership of career development

Requirements

• 10-12 years of hands-on production support experience within the financial domain
• Proficiency with application support tools including GENEOS, Autosys, or Control-M
• Experience using Service Now, GitHub, and GitLab
• Expertise in Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, Python, and PL/SQL
• Strong knowledge of ITIL methodology regarding Incident, Problem, and Change management
• Solid understanding of the Equities Trade Lifecycle
• Proven ability to solve complex technical and business issues
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technology to non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of automation tools such as Automation Anywhere, AppDynamics, or Splunk
• Experience supporting equities trading desks
