About the role
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Assets and Reservoir Engineers to maintain and provide necessary data for reservoir studies and reviews.
- Lead Reserves Reporting and Subsurface Benchmarking on behalf of the Asset.
- Integrate subsurface data types, such as production and pressure, to present meaningful insights using industry-standard visualization tools.
- Support Assets with reserves estimation, classification, reporting, Decline Curve Analysis (DCA), and Material Balance (MBAL) modelling.
- Streamline and document data management processes for the Well, Reservoir, and Facility Management (WRFM) community.
- Analyze large, ambiguous datasets, incorporating risk and uncertainty to support decision-making.
- Participate in the reservoir engineering network to share achievements and challenges.
Requirements
- University Degree in Geoscience, Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in Field Development Planning, Reservoir Studies, or Production Forecasting.
- Strong data management skills with the ability to identify sources and analyze data quality.
- Deep understanding of subsurface data types including production, injection, fluid, pressure, and reservoir properties.
- Proficiency in Reservoir Engineering applications such as OFM, IPM-Petex, or Kappa-WS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Annual Reserves Reporting processes and SEC reporting.
- Skills in data analysis using Python.
- Experience with data integration using VBA or Power Query.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Spotfire or PowerBI.
- Experience applying Continuous Improvement methods to technical processes.
