Tech Services Technician II

Responsibilities

• Test, analyze, repair, maintain, and install electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on all company equipment to ensure continued facility operation
• Read and work from drawings, blueprints, and schematics to troubleshoot or repair machinery
• Execute electro-mechanic installations for solenoid air operated control valves, switchgear, and hydraulic valves
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment including conveyors and sorters
• Use various tools and test equipment such as meters, scopes, analyzers, and power tools
• Maintain accurate and legible paperwork, including work orders and preventive maintenance logs
• Operate facility vehicles including forklifts, pallet riders, and turret trucks
• Perform facility repairs involving lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and concrete work

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in electrical and electro-mechanical repair
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
• Proficiency in math skills including geometry, algebra, and statistics
• Ability to lift objects weighing approximately 60lbs and work at various heights
• Ability to stand and remain mobile for 80% to 100% of the workday
• Basic PC skills including Windows, Word, and Outlook
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain yearly certification)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in mechanical or electrical technology
• Five years of related on-the-job experience
• Knowledge of welding and machine shop skills
