Tech, Mold Maker

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tooling, molds, and related equipment
• Manufacture and modify existing tooling, molds, fixtures, and metal assemblies
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, grinders, and drills
• Utilize welding equipment, specifically micro-welding, for assembly and repair
• Evaluate tooling and molds for potential product or process improvements
• Collect and document test data and maintain traceable information on device history records
• Participate in non-conformance investigations and lean six sigma continuous improvement activities
• Maintain, clean, and organize machinery, tools, and the working area

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with tooling and mold maintenance
• Proficiency in CNC machine operation
• Experience with micro-welding techniques
• Ability to manage documentation and ensure traceability
