Responsibilities
- Lead the Answer Engine Insights roadmap in partnership with the CTO and product leadership
- Develop a team of 8-10 engineers through hiring, performance calibration, and mentorship
- Drive technical decisions regarding LLM scrapers, high-cardinality data models, and fine-tuned LLMs
- Ship code personally on high-leverage parts of the system
- Act as the engineering point of contact for enterprise customer escalations
- Represent the team in cross-functional conversations with sales, customer success, and executives
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience managing or tech-leading a team
- Deep experience with data pipelines and analytics infrastructure
- Proven experience scraping the web at scale and bypassing bot detection
- Strong proficiency in Postgres and Clickhouse
- Experience building frontend analytics experiences
- Proven track record of hiring senior individual contributors
- Ability to remain an active IC contributor while managing a team
