Tech Lead Manager (Hardware Automation)

About the Company

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead by doing with a 70% hands-on and 30% leadership split
• Write and review code, design systems, and debug automation failures
• Mentor the engineering team and align with stakeholders
• Set technical direction for the team's roadmap
• Define good engineering practices and ship robust automation

Requirements

• 7+ years in software, systems, or site reliability engineering
• Significant experience building infrastructure automation or platform tooling
• Strong programming skills in Python and Golang
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems or internal platforms in production
• Proven ability to mentor and technically lead a small engineering team
• Strong written and verbal communication in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Victoria Metrics, Grafana)
• Background in distributed systems or large-scale infrastructure orchestration (Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform)
• Deep Linux expertise
