Tech Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the Risk and Finance Reporting technical strategy by developing and executing a vision for reporting solutions.
• Design and implement a Data Mesh framework, ensuring data is treated as a product across decentralized domains.
• Oversee the architecture of data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics systems to ensure scalability and security.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers, architects, and platform specialists.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP to scale reporting products.
• Implement data governance policies to ensure quality, privacy, and compliance with regulations like GDPR and DORA.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform management.
• Proven expertise in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong proficiency in data modeling and ETL/ELT processes.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Strong commercial experience with Python and Django.
• Background in architectural and systems design.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) for Pan-Baltic collaboration.
