Tech Lead, Infrastructure Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support fault-tolerant, highly available architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Deploy and optimize cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Splunk, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, or AWS CloudWatch.
• Lead incident response activities, including real-time troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Perform capacity planning and performance engineering by forecasting demand and implementing autoscaling.
• Develop automation scripts and internal tools using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to reduce operational toil.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement secure infrastructure practices, including encryption and access control.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud SRE, DevOps, or systems engineering supporting large-scale distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Azure Monitor, or Dynatrace.
• Strong administration skills in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, or Azure DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with multicloud or hybrid cloud deployments and data migration strategies.
• Knowledge of resilience-focused practices like chaos engineering, SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
