Tech Lead II

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of cloud-native data platforms using Snowflake and AWS for healthcare-grade systems.
• Architect and implement data platforms on AWS services including S3, Lambda, Glue, and ECS/EKS.
• Design and optimize Snowflake models, ingestion patterns, ELT/ETL pipelines, and performance tuning.
• Lead end-to-end delivery across the SDLC, including solution design, development, code reviews, and testing strategy.
• Establish engineering standards for coding guidelines, CI/CD, and data quality checks.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Product, Security, and DevOps to deliver scalable features.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science or Engineering preferred).
• 7+ years of professional experience working with Snowflake and AWS.
• Deep expertise in SQL and performance tuning (warehouses, clustering, query profiling).
• Strong experience with data modeling (star/snowflake schemas, dimensional modeling).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Proven ability to lead technical direction and manage end-to-end delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare data engineering and provider analytics.
• Familiarity with Data Vault modeling.
• Knowledge of handling sensitive data (PII/PHI) and compliance standards like HIPAA/HITRUST.
• Basic understanding of AI technologies.
