Tech Lead, Finance & Supply Chain Engineering

Responsibilities

• Partner with Software and Data Engineering managers as a peer technical leader to raise the technical bar.
• Directly own the architecture, implementation, launch, and operation of high-impact initiatives.
• Guide critical design decisions regarding security, financial controls, reliability, and data quality.
• Establish pragmatic engineering standards for APIs, data contracts, testing, and observability.
• Advance engineering standards for building with AI, including agentic workflows and telemetry.
• Work across backend, full-stack, and big-data systems to translate ambiguous needs into durable technical systems.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and reusable reference implementations.

Requirements

• Significant professional engineering experience with sustained staff-level impact as an individual contributor.
• Ability to reason across a full-stack application, from user experience to backend services and durable state.
• Strong data-engineering judgment regarding analytical modeling, pipelines, orchestration, and scale.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and operating consequential systems.
• Experience leading technical decisions and cross-team initiatives through influence and partnership.
• Deep commitment to correctness, security, data quality, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building internal products, developer platforms, or analytics platforms.
• Experience with LLM applications, durable agents, or AI evaluations.
• Domain expertise in Finance, Supply Chain, accounting, procurement, or ERP systems.
