Responsibilities
- Own the automation and QA strategy for Device Software as the final release gate
- Recruit and hire top talent for the QA team across software, hardware, and fleet management
- Act as the build and release manager, including scheduling and readiness reviews
- Design, implement, and evolve a large-scale automated test fleet and custom HIL systems
- Architect test infrastructure spanning devices, test stations, backend services, and CI/CD pipelines
- Design and automate regression, smoke, and nightly test workflows
- Enable scalable fleet operations including automated deployment and monitoring
- Investigate and reproduce field issues for triage across firmware, software, and hardware teams
Requirements
- Deeply hands-on experience with software and hardware debugging
- Proven experience designing or owning automation systems at scale
- Ability to write and review high-quality, maintainable test code and frameworks
- Ability to read production firmware and software code to understand system behavior
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or test rig environments
- Strong systems thinking and ability to work through ambiguity
