Responsibilities

• Own the automation and QA strategy for Device Software as the final release gate
• Recruit and hire top talent for the QA team across software, hardware, and fleet management
• Act as the build and release manager, including scheduling and readiness reviews
• Design, implement, and evolve a large-scale automated test fleet and custom HIL systems
• Architect test infrastructure spanning devices, test stations, backend services, and CI/CD pipelines
• Design and automate regression, smoke, and nightly test workflows
• Enable scalable fleet operations including automated deployment and monitoring
• Investigate and reproduce field issues for triage across firmware, software, and hardware teams

Requirements

• Deeply hands-on experience with software and hardware debugging
• Proven experience designing or owning automation systems at scale
• Ability to write and review high-quality, maintainable test code and frameworks
• Ability to read production firmware and software code to understand system behavior
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or test rig environments
• Strong systems thinking and ability to work through ambiguity
