About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure reliable daily operation of critical R&D instrumentation by setting up, running, and monitoring assays on HPLC and BioPlex systems.
- Maintain instrument performance through routine calibrations, preventive maintenance, and performance verification.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving methods, hardware, and software to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate repairs, service, and parts logistics while maintaining accurate maintenance and corrective action records.
- Serve as a technical enabler for R&D teams by proactively identifying risks and improving equipment reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an Associate degree in engineering, technical sciences, or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of service or support experience in a relevant industry.
- Hands-on experience with complex laboratory instrumentation, specifically HPLC, BioPlex, or similar analytical systems.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair method, hardware, and software issues.
- Working knowledge of regulated or quality-driven environments, including adherence to SOPs and data integrity requirements.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to support cross-functional R&D and manufacturing teams.
