Tear-Down Disassembler

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and remove mechanical and hydraulic components and systems from drilling rigs
• Prepare disassembled components for the next stage of the production process
• Perform welding operations in vertical, horizontal, flat, and overhead positions
• Plan and lay out work using blueprints, drawings, and written specifications
• Use rigging and cranes to lift and transport heavy components
• Set up, adjust, and maintain welding and cutting equipment
• Load drill rigs and components in preparation for shipment
• Maintain a clean workspace following 5S activities and safety regulations
• Detect and report defective materials or unusual operating conditions to supervisors

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Knowledge of welding principles and safe welding practices
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
• Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Ability to perform moderate physical labor, including lifting up to 30 lbs
• Ability to work at elevated heights using ladders or lifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of assembly experience
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and ERP systems
