About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the FSQA team, including QA/QC and sanitation supply
- Develop, implement, and ensure all food safety and quality assurance processes
- Manage daily FSQA operations and drive continuous improvement
- Monitor, analyze, and report FSQA performance using KPIs and trend analysis
- Evaluate quality deviations, conduct root cause analyses, and implement CAPAs
- Coordinate escalations, food safety incidents, and recalls with stakeholders
- Collaborate with production, intralogistics, supply chain, and engineering teams
Requirements
- Degree in Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Nutritional Sciences, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in food safety and QA within the food industry
- Proven leadership experience in a dynamic production environment
- Deep knowledge of food safety standards and certifications (e.g., HACCP, GFSI)
- Experience preparing and conducting external audits
- Analytical, data-driven, and solution-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Google Workspace
- Fluent English and good German skills (B1/B2 level)
