roadsurfer is Europe's largest campervan rental company. Beyond rentals, the company offers subscription models, sales, and the 'roadsurfer spots' platform for discovering unique camping locations. They are a fast-growing organization operating across 15 countries.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and coach the procurement team to foster independent working.
• Act as the primary procurement contact for the SAP implementation project, covering requirements, process design (Purchase-to-Pay), testing, and data migration.
• Optimize the internal supply chain for spare parts, including assortment, supplier management, inventory, and distribution logic.
• Define and standardize procurement processes, guidelines, and approval workflows.
• Manage supplier selection, evaluation, contract management, and negotiations for strategic product groups.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Fleet, Operations, Legal, and IT.
• Drive the use of AI and automation (e.g., n8n workflows) to increase process efficiency.
• Establish and monitor procurement KPIs such as savings, delivery reliability, and lead times.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in strategic or operational procurement.
• Proven experience in team leadership.
• Proficiency in German and English.
• Practical experience with SAP (e.g., MM / Ariba) or experience in ERP system implementation.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay processes.
• Experience in supply chain management or spare parts/material supply is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills and entrepreneurial cost awareness.
• Structured, analytical mindset with proficiency in data and KPIs.
• High affinity for AI and automation tools.
