Teamlead Engineering – Supply Tech

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of core backend applications and define scalable architecture
• Guide the team through complex technical challenges and large-scale migrations
• Partner with Product Leads to balance business features with technical debt reduction
• Mentor and coach Backend Engineers to grow their skills and careers
• Lead hiring and onboarding of engineering talent
• Serve as the primary technical contact for the unit regarding API schemas and integration contracts
• Research and propose modern technologies for message queuing and observability

Requirements

• Proven track record of designing modern, scalable architectures
• Deep experience with high-volume data pipelines and messaging systems like SQS or RabbitMQ
• Strong advocate for clean code and industry standards
• Experience transitioning legacy systems into maintainable patterns
• Ability to manage complex project timelines in fast-paced ecommerce environments
• Expert mindset regarding logging, tracing, and monitoring
• Passion for people development and mentoring
