Teamlead Engineering – Supply Tech

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for backend applications and define a scalable, high-performance architecture
• Lead the team through complex technical challenges, such as rewriting in-house middleware
• Partner with the Product Lead to balance the roadmap between business functions and technical goals
• Mentor and coach backend engineers to simplify system complexity and advance their careers
• Lead the hiring and onboarding of engineering talent
• Act as the primary technical contact for the unit regarding backend architecture, API schemas, and integration contracts
• Research and propose modern technologies in message queuing, data normalization, and observability

Requirements

• Proven track record in designing and developing modern, scalable architectures
• Deep experience with high-volume data pipelines and normalization
• Experience with modern messaging and queuing systems (e.g., SQS, RabbitMQ)
• Strong advocate for industry standards and Clean Code
• Ability to manage complex project timelines and backlogs in a fast-paced eCommerce environment
• Expert mindset regarding logging, tracing, and monitoring
• Passion for personnel development and mentoring
