Team Support Sanitation

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned factory areas, equipment, and surfaces according to the Master Sanitation schedule
• Maintain hand-wash stations, ensuring soaps and sanitizers are replenished and areas are clean
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, PPE, and factory equipment to maintain min/max levels
• Perform deep cleaning of locker rooms, cafeterias, warehouses, and maintenance areas
• Operate floor scrubbers and high-pressure hoses to maintain clean and dry production floors
• Dispose of waste, cardboard, and chemicals in accordance with environmental and safety protocols
• Document completed tasks and communicate effectively with Production and Quality departments

Requirements

• Experience with chemical handling and CIP (Clean-in-Place) sanitation procedures
• Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks in a wet, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written) to understand safety and chemical instructions
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (35°F - 100°F) and around mechanical equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control and material handling
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical issues using basic hand tools
• Experience working in a food manufacturing environment following GMPs
