Team Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two direct reports, providing coaching and performance management.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to support Market, office, and program objectives.
• Oversee office operations, facilities management, and workplace experience to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and office-related services.
• Serve as a purchasing super user, managing budgets, expense reconciliation, and invoices.
• Plan and execute internal office meetings and large-scale external Market events.
• Support new hire onboarding logistics and employee recognition programs.
• Manage Market communication channels, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Slack.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in office operations, workplace experience, or business operations.
• Proven experience in people leadership, including direct management and coaching.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Zoom.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and operational processes.
• Ability to work onsite in the Chicago office 5 days per week.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and provide reliable transportation for event support.
