Team Member

Responsibilities

• Deliver Legendary Customer Service by greeting customers, uncovering needs, and recommending product solutions
• Operate cash registers and computers following established cash handling procedures
• Perform merchandising tasks including recovery, plan-o-gram execution, and price changes
• Assist with freight processes, assembly of merchandise, and loading customer purchases
• Maintain store cleanliness through janitorial duties and organized displays
• Ensure the safety and well-being of birds/poultry, including sanitizing holding tanks
• Operate store equipment such as forklifts, cardboard balers, and pallet jacks (age requirements apply)

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and count accurately
• Ability to move and transfer merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, and climb ladders
• Ability to handle and be in contact with birds/poultry
• Basic computer skills and ability to use point-of-sale systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail experience
• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically
