Team Manager - Refinish and Color

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical team in developing high-performance refinish and color products to maintain technology leadership.
• Develop new products with precise specifications and cost structures to meet profitability and market price objectives.
• Ensure adequate technical and color support is provided to the customer line.
• Collaborate with the Product Team to deliver aggressive and SMART product development targets and identify localization opportunities.
• Partner with Regional and Global Technology teams to leverage international developments for business growth in India.
• Work cross-functionally with supply chain, demand, and operations to drive quality improvements and ensure manufacturing meets market needs.
• Maintain 5S standards in the laboratory and office areas.
• Stay updated on the latest paint and application technologies.

Requirements

• Postgraduate or Graduate degree in Paint Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Polymer Science.
• 12-15 years of related work experience in the paint or an allied industry.
• Deep knowledge of paint formulations, raw materials, and application techniques.
• Strong ownership mindset and a collaborative teamwork spirit.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
