Team Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive customer order execution according to agreed plans, focusing on sustainability, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Supervise employees engaged in the production of air-cooled heat and wet surface exchangers.
• Set and monitor manufacturing targets for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
• Coordinate production schedules with Factory Planners and Project Managers to meet shop goals.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, and drive the analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Oversee team member development, hiring, and performance reviews in collaboration with HR.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
• Manage team equipment, preventative maintenance, and shop area cleanliness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience managing multiple employees.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong skills in time management, attention to detail, and verbal/written communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Associate’s degree or manufacturing certifications.
• Expertise in welding industries or production of air-cooled and wet surface heat exchangers.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methodologies such as 5S, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
• Experience with financial planning, development, and business plan implementation.
