Team Leader/Production Supervisor (Glass Shop)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily glass shop operations and supervise a team of 30-40 employees
• Ensure manpower is appropriately assigned and trained to meet safety, productivity, and quality standards
• Monitor equipment setup and maintenance
• Conduct safety training, meetings, audits, and workplace inspections
• Perform incident investigations and identify root causes for near misses or injuries
• Maintain personnel productivity, quality, and attendance records
• Manage Quality Scan Stations and discard defective units
• Support performance management through coaching and formal actions

Requirements

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Proven leadership in a safety-sensitive environment
• Ability to work a biweekly rotating shift schedule (Day and Afternoon shifts)
• Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as required
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in windows and doors manufacturing
• Experience working with glass in a manufacturing environment
• Continuous improvement mindset
